We are delighted to be a part of NT Art Month this June.
NT Art Month is a month-long celebration of the incredible arts quarter in Edinburgh’s New Town. It features some of the very best galleries in the New Town, highlighting international and home-grown Scottish artists alongside prodigious emerging talent.
NT Art Month will launch with a late night event on Thursday 6 June from 17:30 - 20:30pm.
Throughout the festival we will be exhibiting works by gallery artist Emily Moore.
Fragmented Landscapes is Emily Moore's second solo exhibition with the gallery. Moore’s paintings take inspiration from the natural environment, particularly the mountainous alpine landscapes she has visited. Photography is central to Moore’s practice and the starting point for most of her work. For this exhibition the artist used an amalgamation of images from her photographic archive, spanning a variety of European locations and years.
